This is the 1st Signature Series Bat Grip Tape by VukGripz! We signed MLB Player, Eric Sogard of the Milwaukee Brewers to a 2nd Contract in 2021! Sogard has been with us since 2019 when we first met him with the Toronto Blue Jays at Spring Training! He asked to try some batting gloves as he was in the market for a new vibe!

After several weeks of using our Prowler Batting Gloves, Eric ended up buying 3 pair off of our website at full price! A few weeks later, he did the same again! But, this time, we included a note to have him “Contact Us if you need anything, brother!” Being a high level player, we wanted him to know that we had his back (but, we appreciated his investment)! In 2019, he started off in Triple A with the Buffalo Bison! He did well and ended up getting called up in Mid April! This was the 1st time any of our batting gloves had been used in the MLB! Since that day, VUK has made it onto 4 different Topps Baseball Trading Cards and has been a part of Eric’s arsenal for 3 years!

The San Diego Padres drafted Eric in 2007! He made his MLB Debut with the Oakland Athletics in 2010! Since then, his fan base started growing! His new nickname came from the right field bleachers with fans screaming NERDPOWER! Since then, it has stuck with him! This is such a great theme for him as he wears glasses on the field! We were fortunate enough to be able encompass that along with his current number and his real signature into the Signature Series Bat Grip Tape! Eric Sogard- Using our Bat Tape!

Eric ended up using our bat grip tape every once in a while throughout the next couple of years! The highlight of our Signature Series Bat Grip occurred when he hit the first pitch of his first at bat for a home run! It was a 98mph fastball on the inside corner from Gerrit Cole of the Houston Astros! That was insane! In 2020, we had the opportunity to do a photo shoot with Eric! He ended up doing one of our water tests with our Prowler Batting Gloves and our Bat Grip! Check out his reaction on how well VUK worked during this test by clicking here!
